Taking our past into the future...
lasting to the township in memory of Chuck. Additional seating for the park was on our "wish list", so a scarlet and gray glider for the the park seemed ideal. Chuck played football under Woody Hayes, won a coveted pair of "gold pants" for beating the team up north, was a successful high school coach for many years, and after earning his pilots license, retired from The Ohio State University airport at Don Scott Field. Thank you, Carol, for your generous gift. If you would like to discuss a "Legacy Donation" to the park, please contact the township.
The old barn which stood on the Township property when it was purchased was cost prohibitive to restore. It was taken down by Finish Line Building, Inc. with the intention of reusing the salvageable wood in a restoration/remodeling project for a historic home. Above are a few pictures of the old and the new. The finished project is beautiful and the company has already received national attention for their work.
