RUMPKE WASTE AND RECYCLING SERVICES

Berkshire Township is contracted with and uses a single trash and recycling provider. Rumpke Waste & Recycling Services is the provider for all Berkshire Township residents.

If you are new to the township, please call Rumpke at  at 800-828-8171 to establish your account. Be sure to specify that you are a Berkshire Township resident as you qualify for discounted rates.

As a reminder to residents who may not be familiar with the decision, the choice to contract with one hauler was made for several reasons, but the two main ones were:1) Economics - it saved the majority of residents quite a bit on their monthly bill and added recycling, and 2) Safety/Maintenance - it greatly reduced the number of heavy trucks on our roads making them safer for our children and saving on road wear-and-tear.

Remember...
At the current time, the trash collection day for township residents is Thursday (unless a listed holiday impacts the schedule.)  Recycling is every other week, depending on your address. Contact Rumpke to determine what your recycling week is. 800-828-8171is their number or you can email them atcentralohiomarket@rumpke.com
